Here we go!!!
So today is the official day I leave for my 9 month mission trip to Nicaragua, the Philippines, and Malawi. There are so many mixed emotions. I am so excited to be going into the nations but nervous about missing home and seeing poverty in a whole new way. I've never been on a mission trip before, so I don't know what to expect at all. I know my team will be with me the whole time to support me. I love my squad so much, such an amazing group of Men and Women who love the lord with every ounce of their being. I dont know what to expect.. But I get on a flight in 5 hours to our first stop, Chinandega. Please pray for me that I have the strength to make it through these 9 months but to also be an encourager to my team and to always thank positively and rely on Christ every day. This is our time. This is our time to have God work through us and speak through us. God will change lives this year. God will change the world. This is the Verse that is getting me through these 9 months, Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have recieved; freely give (Matthew 10:8)
